Thank you for that, Marsha. then I was probably happy there. My mom came home in 1952, so I was certainly gone from the Home by then. My dad died in 1953 at the age of 43 from cancer. My grandfather, 3 months later that year. I think we were cursed…

Elise, if you were born in 1948 then you would have been in Mills Cottage which was for infants and toddlers. I think probably by the time you left in 1951 they had closed Mills and stopped taking infants as I recall. As for getting your records you…
